Contractor’s Site Liability is cover that protects you if something goes wrong on site and causes injury or damage to people or property that are not part of your team or the project.
For example:
- A member of the public walks past the site and gets hurt by falling debris
- A neighbour’s building gets damaged by your excavation work
- Fuel leaks from your machine and damages nearby land not part of the site
This cover helps pay for claims made against you — including legal costs — if you’re held responsible.
It’s not about damage to your own site or crew, but rather harm caused to outsiders because of your work.
